Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This page explains what data TDEEcals.com collects, how it's used, and what your rights are. We've kept it plain and readable — no legal copy-paste walls of text.
1. What we collect
When you use the TDEE calculator, you enter numbers like your age, weight, height, and activity level. None of this is sent to our servers. All calculations happen entirely in your browser — we never see your personal measurements.
The only data we may collect automatically is standard web analytics — things like which pages were visited, how long someone spent on the page, and what device type was used. This is anonymous and aggregated. We cannot identify you from it.
2. Cookies
We may use basic analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics or a privacy-friendly alternative) to understand how people use the site. These cookies do not track you across other websites and do not store any health or personal data you enter into the calculator.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. The calculator will still work perfectly without them.
3. Third-party services
We don't sell your data to anyone. We don't have advertising partners. If we use a third-party analytics tool, it is configured to anonymize IP addresses and not to share data for advertising purposes. We will update this page if that ever changes.
4. Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through this site, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
5. External links
If we link to external websites (such as research papers or nutritional resources), we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Each external site has its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to read them.
6. Your rights
Because we don't collect personal data through the calculator, there is nothing to access, delete, or export. If you believe we hold any data about you from a contact form or email interaction, you can contact us to request its deletion.
If you are in the EU or UK, you have rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, and erase personal data. We will respond to any reasonable request within 30 days.
7. Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We won't notify you by email because we don't collect email addresses — but the changes will always be visible here.
